Hi, Just looking at your web page and noticed that there was a ? after
Vietnam. I was in VC-5 from 1969-71 and VC-5 did do support work mostly
between carriers on Yankee station and DaNang. We hauled mail, people,
parts etc. to the best of my knowledge. I flew and worked mostly on the
S-2's but of course was close to the A-4's.

- 19 DEC 1972: LT Bill Robertson reported developing
engine trouble after taking off from NAS Cubi Point, RP; and ejected 60
miles west of Subic. He was picked by ship and a chopper from Subic
then picked him up and returned him to NAS Cubi, uninjured. BuNo 150002
was lost.
- MAY 1984:
UE-15 BuNo 158476, a TA-4J, crashed during a training mission. The
aircraft crashed into Subic Bay and was recovered by harbour assets.
One crewman survived, the other, LT Dickerson, was killed. His remains
were recovered.
